Brent Greenwood is an award winning artist working primarily in acrylics and mixed media. Brent creates depth and emotion within his work through various layers of paint, washes, drips and splatters. Greenwood blends early tribal history and design elements with his subject matter in a contemporary fashion, breathing life back into traditional facets through his paintings.

Greenwood graduated in 1994 with an Associate of Fine Arts degree in 2-Dimensional Art from the Institute of American Indian Arts (IAIA) in Santa Fe, New Mexico. His experience at IAIA had an enormous impact on his life and helped to transform his artwork and launch his career. Greenwood later completed his Bachelor of Fine Arts from Oklahoma City University.
