Chester Horse
Kiowa silversmith, Chester Horse, learned by watching an elder make jewelry from silver coins. Chester began using dimes and quarters that he pounded out on a chunk of railroad iron. “God has given me a trait I could build on to be a better man,” Horse said. “He has gifted me with my hands.” Since then, Chester has developed a truly unique style that incorporates all the skills he honed pounding dimes and quarters.
