Artist's Full Biograpy

Dustin Mater grew up in Ada, Oklahoma and studied art and design at Santa Monica College and the Multimedia Institute of Hollywood from 2000 to 2004. Mater began as an active illustrator and graphic designer in Los Angeles and moved to Dallas, Texas in 2007 to continue his career as a freelance illustrator and graphic designer. In 2011, Mater moved back to Ada to work with the Chickasaw Nation as a graphic arts coordinator for the Division of Arts & Humanities.

Mater’s work can be found in galleries and museums across the county and has won numerous awards from the Southeastern Arts Show & Market, the Artesian Arts Festival, the Santa Fe Indian Market and the Te’Ata Fisher Chickasaw Nation Employee Art Show.
