Erin Littlechief is a member of the Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma from Anadarko, OK. He studied fine arts at The Institute of American Indian Arts (IAIA) in Santa Fe, NM and The University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma in Chickasha, OK. He completed his studies at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, OK where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in both Fine Arts and Psychology with an emphasis in oil painting. Although a large majority of his works are commissioned portraits, he also has a passion for creating images that mesh the modern world with nostalgic Native American imagery. His vision is to combine elements that coexist only as a thought or an abstract idea.
