For more than a decade Karl Addison’s artistic pilgrimage has continued to evolve using processes related to prepress print and color theory. A cyclical evolution from blank slate to paper, canvas and sculpture to installation and integration into public space. Addison attempts to expand the viewer’s understanding of the context, structures and surfaces they inhabit by adding life to his work and aiming toward a meticulous harmony and balance between that and the pre-existing movement.
