Madelyn Goodnight is a member of the Chickasaw Nation and grew up in Oklahoma. Her work reflects her love of her culture, childhood, and exploration. She holds a BFA degree in Illustration from Rhode Island School of Design and lives in Oklahoma City. She is the illustrator of The Pear Tree, Look, Grandma!/Ni, Elisi! and Powwow Day.
