A native of Oklahoma, Michael Elizondo Jr. received his BFA from Oklahoma Baptist University (2008) and his MFA at the University of Oklahoma (2011). Elizondo has taken part of numerous solo and group exhibits regionally and nationally. He has dedicated much of his time to teaching art and art history among various colleges and mentoring programs within the state of Oklahoma. While currently revitalizing the Cheyenne language, he simultaneously continues his studio practices and his passion for art making.
