After a forty-seven-year career teaching all levels from third grade to graduate students, I met a special friend who patiently taught me to bead. I love the blending of colors to reflect our natural world and experimenting with patterns to mimic nature.

Artist's Full Biograpy
I am a proud member of the Comanche Nation and a descendant of Tomasa. I grew up at Apache, Oklahoma, and graduated from Anadarko High School. I marveled at the beautiful Native beadwork and paintings and wondered if I could ever learn to do that. After a forty-seven-year career teaching all levels from third grade to graduate students, I met a special friend who patiently taught me to bead. I love the blending of colors to reflect our natural world and experimenting with patterns to mimic nature. Beading has become my passion.
I am honored for some of my work to be displayed at Exhibit C.
