Born in Oklahoma, but raised on the west coast of Canada in the small, coastal village of Sechelt; home to the Sechelt First Nation. Paul Moore began his art career under the direction of Hieltsuk artist, Brad Hunt. Moore attended the Institute of American Indian Arts (IAIA) in Santa Fe, New Mexico where he received his bachelor of fine arts and is currently attending the Northern Arizona University to work on his master’s degree in sustainable communities.

Previously employed by the Chickasaw Nation and as an instructor at IAIA, Moore has enjoyed the great fortune of working on several art installations for the Chickasaw Nation.
