Peter Paul Bruno

I travel cross-country throughout the seasons, drawing inspiration from the ever-changing landscape. By immersing myself in the natural beauty around me, I am able to evoke a sense of wonder and connection with the land, a feeling that I seek to share through my art.

Artist Bio:

Randy Veitenheimer creates art under the Peter Paul Bruno name. As a member of the Potawatomi Tribe and Bruno family, Randy uses this name to honor his ancestors. Randy was born in the Pawnee Indian Hospital in Oklahoma. Heritage and environment played an important part in his development as a healer and artist. Growing up in a small town in Oklahoma and on the Navajo reservation in Arizona were two important inspirational factors. The other was French Impressionism which he first encountered in fourth grade art classes. Tribal culture and living in such beautiful surroundings helped create a vibrant style emphasizing a colorful and imaginative method of painting, Living and painting in art communities like Carmel-by-the-Sea, California and Santa Fe, New Mexico, provided instruction and opportunity to develop artistically and creatively. Randy works with Native American traditions and experiences to provide healing in practice and in painting. Beauty in the form of art is medicine.
